Shipping & Lead Times Policy

Shipping Coverage: We proudly ship Australia-wide. Whether you're in Melbourne, Perth, or anywhere in between, we can deliver to all states and territories. (At this time we do not offer international shipping, focusing on reliable domestic delivery.)
Dispatch Times:

In-Stock Items: In-stock products are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days of your order. We know you’re eager to receive your item, so we act fast on ready-made stock.

Made-to-Order Items: Custom timber products or items marked “Made to Order” require time for production. Please allow approximately 2–3 weeks manufacturing lead time before dispatchwoodturn.com.au. We craft these pieces in our Melbourne workshop specifically for you, including precision CNC cutting and hand-finishing, to ensure top quality. (We will keep you updated on the progress and let you know once your order is ready to ship.)
Carriers & Tracking: We use trusted courier services and Australia Post to deliver your items safely. All orders include tracking – you'll receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your order ships. We pack all items securely to protect them in transit, and larger items are shipped with appropriate freight companies to handle oversized timber parts.
Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order’s size, weight, and destinationwoodturn.com.au. We aim to keep delivery costs fair. You will see the shipping fee before confirming your order. (If your order is particularly large or heavy, we may contact you to discuss the most cost-effective delivery options.)
Local Pickup: Click & Collect is available from our Bayswater, VIC workshop. If you prefer to pick up your order in person and save on shipping, simply select “Local Pickup” at checkout or contact us to arrange a pickup time. We’ll notify you when your order is ready for collection. Pickup hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (by appointment).
Production Lead Times: We take pride in our custom timber production. If an item is made-to-order, the product page will indicate the estimated lead time (usually ~2–3 weeks). This time allows for CNC precision cutting and quality checks to meet our high standardswoodturn.com.au. We appreciate your patience with made-to-order pieces – you’re receiving a freshly crafted item built just for you!
Delivery Timeframes: Once dispatched, delivery times vary by destination. Metropolitan Melbourne and Sydney orders generally arrive in 1–4 business days, while remote or interstate deliveries (e.g. WA, NT) may take up to 7–10 days. These timeframes are estimates provided by our carriers. During peak periods or for remote locations, delivery might take a little longer (we will inform you of any unusual delays).
Missing or Delayed Shipments: If your parcel hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us and we will assist by tracking the shipment and liaising with the courier. Your satisfaction is important – we’ll work to resolve any shipping issues promptly.
